ARGUDELL: It ripens late and uniformly from the first week of December until the end of that month.
The Argudell variety is especially adapted to the climatic conditions of the Empordà, which explains why it is the most widespread in the region. It is a rustic variety, adapted to the poverty of the soil and which can withstand the intense winds of the Tramuntana.
Argudell produces a green, fruity oil, with hints of grass and artichokes, and is slightly bitter and spicy in the mouth.
